EXPERT REHAB AND PERFORMANCE TRAINING, BUILT SPECIFICALLY FOR YOUR BODY.

About TUNL Rehab & Performance

TUNL is a private rehab and performance practice in the Boston area, led by Dr. Daniel Negron, DPT — a Tufts-trained Doctor of Physical Therapy and former Clinic Director at Ripple Boston.

TUNL is for people who refuse to accept pain as their new normal.  We guide you through a proven two-phase method — from rebuilding your foundation to expanding your ceiling.

No generic programs. No wasted sessions. Just specific, expert-led work that gets you back to what you love — and beyond.

Physical Therapy Session

THE PROBLEM

Your injury took more than your range of motion.

It took your Saturday morning run. Your gym routine. The thing that makes you you. Now you're sitting in a waiting room, getting 20 minutes with a PT who hands you a printed sheet of exercises and tells you to "take it easy." That's not care. That's a waiting game.

Most physical therapy treats the injury in isolation. It doesn't ask what you were doing before, what you're trying to get back to, or how hard you actually push it. So you heal — sort of — and then you re-injure. Or you quit before you're really ready. Or you spend months feeling like a fragile version of yourself, terrified of moving the wrong way.

Generic programs

The same exercises given to the 60-year-old ahead of you in line. Cookie-cutter rehab built for the average person — not for someone who refuses to be average.

No real end point

Session after session with no clear answer to "when can I go back?" You're left guessing, second-guessing every movement, and holding yourself back out of fear — not science.

The identity gap

The hardest part isn't the pain. It's losing the thing that defines you. The run. The lift. The sport. Injury doesn't just sideline your body — it sidelines who you are.

Dan is by far one of the best physical therapists in Boston. I began seeing him in January for a few significant injuries, and his ability to guide me to a pain-free state has been incredible, all while helping me build strength at the same time. He is extremely knowledgeable about the human body and takes a comprehensive, whole-person approach to treatment. Working with Dan, you’re bound to get stronger, gain a deep understanding of how your body moves, and get back to moving with ease and comfort. Highly recommend!!

Dan's commitment to me as a patient has been the best medical attention I have received - his care is superb, he is receptive to my questions in and out of sessions, and his flexibility with my wild work schedule is miraculous. Most impressively, his warmth as I fearfully go through each step of the process has been encouraging as we progress together. Dan is demanding in the work that needs to be done; however, he builds a feeling of safety as we continue to push through barriers. He is impressively patient as I nervously bumble through conversations or fill quiet moments with anxiety fueled jokes because I feel the pressure of an urgent recovery on my mind. Through all of my nerves, he remembers parts of our conversations to see me as a person he is treating - not an injury to overcome. The humanity he has on the table is top notch.

When I first met Dan I was having a considerable amount of back pain. We had our first evaluation where he told me he would get me back to my work outs. It was hard to believe but I loved the enthusiasm and trusted him. Dan has done just that, I am now more flexible, stronger and mentally he helped me feel like I could do it! He is always up-beat while doing the manual work on my back in addition to getting back to exercising and even lifting. I really appreciate the one on one sessions where he makes sure my form is on track and I can take that with me into my group classes. Thanks so much Dan!
